WINERIES & TASTING ROOMS
Located along the northeast edge of Dufur Valley, and homesteaded by Absolom Bolton, this fertile farmland is home to 15 Mile Winery. Our family, now in its fifth generation on this land is proud to bring you our premium wines. Our grapes are estate grown by Dan Bolton and the wines are made by our owner and winemaker Colter Bolton. We enjoy what our history and hard work have given us an we hope you do too!
The Sunshine Mill has a long, colorful history. The Sunshine Mill has milled wheat on this property for more than 130 years, and was the first building in The Dalles to have electricity, powered by a Thomas Edison Motor which can still be seen in The Mill. The Sunshine Mill now houses Quenett and Copa Di Vino wineries owned and operated by James and Molli Martin, both from The Dalles. Enjoy a tasting or have a glass of wine in our amphitheater. Order an Antipasto platter to enjoy in The Boiler House Bar and drink differently at The Sunshine Mill.

The Baldwin Saloon is a favorite restaurant and gathering place in The Dalles Oregon. They make everything from scratch, from the breads and pastas, all the way to the twelve desserts – even the ice cream! They offer a large and diverse menu that includes hand-cut choice steaks, fresh seafood, salads, chicken dishes, homemade soups, fresh ground hamburgers, unique sandwiches and daily specials. They serve only Northwest wines with house pours from local wineries. Choose from their great wine selection as you order from their classic turn-of-the-century bar. It’s a Taste of History!
408 East 2nd Street The Dalles, OR
In 1996, a small group of friends came together to share their passion for food and pastry from their home country, France. Soon after, they decided to open La Provence Bakery & Bistro, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. An opportunity arose to expand to The Dalles, and in 2007, Petite Provence of the Gorge was opened for business. As a group of restaurants, they try to keep menus and offerings similar, while still allowing their chefs creative freedom to give each location its own special character.

Freebridge Brewing is the dream of a fifth generation Oregon ranch family – Steve Light and Laurie Petroff-Light. On Laurie’s Matriarchal side, Great Grandma Matilda Hendricks walked into Fort Dalles Oregon as a young girl on the Oregon trail. Most likely over the Freebridge. Today, the Petroff family continues to farm wheat and run cattle in the Fifteen Mile Creek valley.
Laurie and Steve have been an obsessed homebrew team for years and Master Brewer, Mike Boler has an extensive twenty-five years experience in the Brewhouse as a pro. Here is where passion and experience are showcased in every beer that leaves the tanks. Our goal: To bring the people in our community- locals and travelers alike- together over stunning craft beers and artisan food.
