Limitations of extended stay Lodging

Please be aware that long term lodgers on weekly or monthly rates may not have access to all of the amenities and services available to regular rate guests. As often as possible, we provide every convenience available, but the nature of the season does mean more limited services.

During the winter, we are closed to the general public on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, while extended stay lodgers may still reside. As such, on these days, breakfast and coffee are not served, the Bistro is closed, and housekeeping and reception are unavailable. Management may be either onsite or remote, and lodgers access the secure building using a code. During regular operating hours Thursdays through Sundays, however, our long term lodgers are welcome to enjoy the complimentary breakfast baskets, and to request housekeeping services.

As a historic rooming house, there are no in-room mini-fridges or microwaves, but we do allow reasonable access to the common fridge and microwave located in the dining room enclave (outside of Bistro operating hours.)

OUR REVIEWS

What guests are saying:

"We stayed here in January 2021 when winter had set into the valley turning everything white in every direction. The hotel was relatively unoccupied during the season – a fantastic time to go. As bicyclists, it is a great central location for heading out in all directions to explore everything from the rolling barley covered hills overlooking the Deschutes River to the southeast, to the foothills of the Mount Hood National Forest in the Fifteen mile creek area. The White River wildlife refuge is to the south. Oregon 44 takes you up into the 44 trails area, a mecca for mountain biking. Rooms are nicely appointed in period furnishings and in keeping with that theme, there is no TV, such a wonderful surprise in a hotel these days! The hotel staff were gracious and accommodating…"
